PNG to JPG
A practical format for everyday sharing.
Three small steps. You’re all set.
- 01
Choose images to rotate
Add supported images from your device. Group files that need the same rotation in one batch.
- 02
Turn left or right
Use 90° steps to choose your rotation. The default is 0°, and your chosen setting applies to every image in the batch.
- 03
Check and save a copy
Choose JPG or PNG, convert, then review the orientation and final dimensions. Download the results and keep your originals.
One rotation for the whole batch
Every image uses the same selected rotation. If some photos need a left turn and others need a right turn, process them in separate batches. Return to 0° when no turn is needed.
Check dimensions and transparent areas
A quarter turn changes the orientation of a rectangular image. Check the final width and height, especially if you also resize. PNG can keep existing transparency that the browser can read; JPG combines transparent areas with your selected background.
Export creates a new image file
The tool renders and re-encodes the result as JPG or PNG. It does not perform a lossless JPEG file transformation. JPG quality affects detail, and original metadata and color features are not guaranteed to survive. Keep the original for future edits.
Rotate on your device
Selected images are processed in this browser, on your device. Files are not uploaded to a conversion server. This version has no remote analytics.
Which rotation angles can I use?
Turn left or right in 90° steps to reach 90°, 180° or 270°, or return to 0°. This version does not offer arbitrary-angle rotation or flipping.
Can I rotate every image differently?
The rotation setting applies to the whole batch. Use separate batches for images that need different rotations.
Will the transparent background stay transparent?
Choose PNG to keep existing transparency that can be decoded. JPG fills transparent areas with the selected background. Rotation does not remove an opaque background.
Is rotation lossless?
Do not assume so. Export renders and re-encodes the image. JPG may lose detail; PNG avoids lossy output encoding, but decoding and color processing can still affect the result. Original file data is not preserved in full.
Can I rotate animated images?
When animated WebP, APNG or AVIF is detected, you must confirm before a single still frame is exported. Animation is not preserved. GIF is not supported.
